Elmore Compost Field Day

Wednesday 27 September 

9.30am - 4pm 

Elmore Football Club Rooms, 2 Elmore-Mitiamo Road, Elmore 

Come and join us as we look at long term application of compost on farms and listen to leaders and technical experts within their field.

Coffee, tea & biscuits provided on arrival

Bus will depart at 10.00am to tour 3 field sites returning at approximately 1.00pm (there is no option for self drive at this time) 

Sites will include:

1.       A valuable long term surface incorporated compost trial site established in 2019 and treated each year.  There are four different compost application rates compared to untreated.

2.       Two innovative subsoil amelioration trial sites where compost and other amendments have been incorporated into the subsoil. The innovative machinery used to apply compost at this depth will also be on display.

BBQ Lunch provided on return to Club Rooms, followed by Speaker Session including;
