The AORA 2023 Conference, themed Working together for a better future, will look at the implications of Australia “getting organics recycling right” by leveraging improved collaboration and cooperation. With the sector growing at more than double the rate of population growth for more than a decade, the organics recovery and processing industry provides Australia with the means to achieve national and state objectives for waste reduction, recycling and landfill diversion whilst also playing a critical role in the improvement of soil health, carbon sequestration, and climate change mitigation.

Boasting significant economic benefit multipliers locally and nationally, organics recycling in Australia has consistently delivered on its promise. It has become an exemplar of the circular economy achieving highly beneficial results in a relatively short time frame.

This year’s conference will explore the importance of developing the industry further. It will also consider the commercial and environmental opportunities that can be achieved by unlocking the considerable potential of the recycled organics end-use market.

We invite you to take part in this year’s event to examine and discuss the necessary processes to advance the industry as well as ways to establish closer and more cooperative relationships between governments, regulators, and the industry.
