“Opportunities for Recycled Organic Products in Queensland Agricultural Markets” - Dr Georgina Davis, Queensland Farmer's Federation
Georgina is the Chief Executive Officer Queensland Farmers’ Federation (QFF), which is the united voice of agriculture in Queensland, representing the interests of peak state and national agriculture industry organisations. QFF engages in a broad range of economic, social, environmental and regional issues of strategic importance to the productivity, sustainability and growth of the agricultural sector. QFF’s mission is to secure a strong and sustainable future for Queensland farmers by representing the common interests of our member organisations.
Georgina also holds several Board positions including various roles on statutory authorities as well as an Adjunct position at the Australian Rivers Institute at Griffith University.
How the Queensland Organics Composting Industry is making a valuable contribution to the economy and communities across the State - Nick Behrens
Nick is Director of Queensland Economic Advocacy Solutions. Across his professional career Nick has realised many outstanding outcomes to complex challenges for the business community. He possesses significant experience in gathering and presenting information, and leveraging that information to achieve results across a range of economic areas including taxation, regulatory environment, employment legislation, infrastructure and planning issues.
Nick delivers services nationally to exemplary organisations including AORA, CANEGROWERS, Suncorp, Brisbane Airport Corporation, the Property Council of Australia, the Queensland Resources Council, Master Builders Australia, Waste Recycling Industry Queensland, AI Group, CCIQ, RACQ, VTA, Unions, the Commonwealth and State Governments and many others.
This event is open to AORA members and non-members. We encourage you to come along, bring a colleague and enjoy a hearty breakfast, hear from our speakers and learn more about AORA.
Booking instructions
AORA Members - You need to be a member to access member prices. If you have previously created an account, click on member login at the top right of the website and then you can follow the instructions below. If you are a staff member, of a member organisation, and you are yet to create an account you need to go to https://www.aora.org.au/membership and click the button that says sign up for an account to connect. Put your email in here and click look up, find you business name (it may be listed as the registered trading name) and click connect. Your account administrator will need to approve your connection. They need to login to their account to do so. Once this is done, you can then purchase for the member price. (Please note this is just a one off process to link you to the business membership in the new AORA system).
Once you have an account, Put the number of tickets you would like, then click add to cart/ purchase event. Depending on your browser, you may have to scroll up to the cart at the top of the page. Click on checkout and the members price will be reflected in your shopping cart. You will be able to purchase via invoice or credit card.
